It’s all about me and them! On this, the Pet Peeves Unmasked Profile page, Regina gives her readers a little personal background. And, she also explains why she decided to create a blog.

An Exciting And Rewarding Journey

I consider myself fortunate to have lived in a number of different countries and had many interesting employment opportunities. Also, I enjoy a wide range of interests but, most of all, I am passionate about animals and their welfare.

In recent years as a self-employed petsitter and dog walker, I have learned a lot. When you deal with multiple dogs and cats on a daily basis, you get to know the unique personality of each one. In a short period of time you develop an antenna that picks up signals from the pets themselves and their guardians. You sure do learn a lot. And, what’s more, you continue to learn and continue to grow. Every single day.

I have seen how many pet parents are either uncertain, confused and even, at times, utterly overwhelmed. They simply don’t know how to handle the issues that affect their pets and the interactions between pet and human. And, many a time, they are unaware of the harm and dangers involved with mundane actions such as feeding and walking.

Why I Write

For this reason I decided to help those who seek reassurance, or answers, or to be steered in the right direction. That way they and their pets can live together in harmony and be healthy, happy and safe.

The topics in this blog, PetPeevesUnmasked.com, (and in my book “Perfect” Pet Parenting), cover ALL aspects related to “owning” a dog or a cat or both. They include statistics, trends, scientific research, industry alerts, the law and lots of fun stuff, too. Check out the Pet Humor category as well as stories about truly amazing Pet Heroes.

So, WELCOME, make yourself at home, and take your knowledge to the next level!
